There's a deli by my apartment that has a sign in the window "if you're going to have a sandwich, have a sandwich." I never quite understood what that means, but I just got a Cuban sandwich there, and now I do. Each of these sandwich halves is like the size of a 20 oz soda bottle.

I wonder how I'd feel reading an Asimov story today. I don't think I've touched one since I was a teenager, but I also read and re-read Forward the Foundation like 4 times senior year in high school.

In the late 90s, they did a continuation of Foundation with three new authors. Here's what I remember about those books.* The first one by Gregory Benford has a lengthy author's note where he said he was replacing "hyperspace" with "wormholes" because they were more scientifically plausible.* The plot of that book was alarmingly similar to the MST3k-skewered film Overdrawn at the Memory Bank.* The second novel (published 1998) first introduced me to the word "meme"That's all I remember.
