       @tante Hat sich wohl nix geändert beim RCDS seit 20 Jahren. Die waren zu meinen Studienzeiten schon konservativ bis reaktionär.

       Ich finde es echt nicht in Ordnung, wenn Zeugen Jehovas ihre Hausbesuche nicht mit den Worten "Guten Tag, wir möchten mit Ihnen über Gott reden." beginnen. Dann kann ich nämlich nicht mit einem tiefen Seufzer und der Frage "Was hat sie denn jetzt schon wieder angestellt?" antworten. Das geht so nicht!

       Die Zeugen Jehovas scheinen von ihrer Marke aber nicht 100%ig überzeugt. Sie haben sich nicht vorgestellt, sondern wollten mir den "Wachturm" mit dem Satz "Das wird weltweit verteilt und das ist Ihre Kopie" in die Hand drücken. Ich finde das ein bisschen lahm. Da haben sich die Evangelikalen, Mormonen und die Vertreter irgendeiner südkoreanischen Sekte mehr Mühe gegeben. Letztere haben immerhin geglaubt, dass Gott irgendwie auch weiblich ist. So ganz hab ich es nicht verstanden wg Sprachbarriere

       @wauz auch ok. Ich hab ihnen mitgeteilt, dass ich Atheistin bin und dass sich der auch nicht mehr ändern wird. Es wäre also Papierverschwendung.

       @futurebird Fun fact: in German you would call pretty much any bag that is carried on your back with two straps a "Rucksack". But a book bag for younger students is called a "Schulranzen". Older students often but not exclusively use a Rucksack which may or may not be especially marketed for use in school.

       @stux You do you. I asked my husband if he would consider getting married because it would save us a bunch of money (German law is weird like that). He said he'd consider it. I asked again 3 weeks later, he said yes. We got married shortly after (no party because no money). That was over 15 years ago. No rings involved ever. Back then we didn't have the money and when we did it just wasn't important anymore. We may celebrate our 20th anniversary with a big party.
