That phone alert today at 3?If your phone is turned off or in airplane mode it won’t go off at 3, but when you turn it back on, it *may* still receive the message and the alarm will sound, much like when your text messages come through when you turn it back on.(source bbc news, radio 4)

@Trilobyter alt text for those who can’t see the image- it’s the single most beautiful snapdragon stem. The pale green of the stem complements the peachy tones of the flowers, and the whole thing is backlit by glorious sunshine showing every detail of the fuzzy little buds and stem.

I mentioned to my PhD chat group buddies that it’d be lovely to see them on Mastodon, and some have agreed to give it a go.So I’m asking for help. My mother turns up for a visit with the half started contents of her fridge “because it’ll go off otherwise”. This is usually half a bottle of milk, a few tomatoes, an open packet of sandwich meat etc.Me and kiddo have been retaliating on return visits. A zested lemon. Cheese cut into small sculptures “because the recipe needed it and this was left”, three unground coffee beans, etc.For Xmas we want to make a hamper of extremely odd foodstuffs. Suggestions pls? Retoot for reach.

@sandriver The model Stonehenge (made of rocks) in Spinal Tap (rock band) was accidentally 18” high not 18ft high.
