@2T2 The term is a bit odd, I agree. People have been trying to find a new one that is more accurate (anti-trans is one such term). There are people are actually afraid of trans people (“the gay agenda” bla bla bla) but the majority is hatred and inacceptance. And yes, people who are afraid of trans people try to pass laws to erase and harm them; they are a threat to trans people. I never said you hated trans people, but there are many who do. I never ask anyone to “kiss my ass”? I simply expect basic human respect and decency. I didn’t call anyone transphobic here either. And saying “I don’t like trans people” has some issues. It is the equivalent of saying, (truly equivalent, this is not a reductio ad absurdum attack) “I don’t like straight people” or “I don’t like black people”. If you don’t want to be trans, you don’t have to be trans. That’s a false comparison. Saying “I don’t like trans people” is like saying “I don’t like mountain climbers”, or “I don’t like people who eat chocolate”. Happy to clarify what I mean by anything above.

Many trans people are straight. What do you mean by “incompatibility”?I also wasn’t saying it turns into racism, I was saying it is comparable to racism.

@jeffcliff I might lean *very* far left but honestly don’t really care about alt right or left social media platforms. If it’s proprietary, centralized garbage, well that sucks for them. But at least it’s not stolen code from mastodon, that everyone has to make sure they’re blocking.
