@kaia Depends on the location. Stuff like that's only locked up in areas where they're regularly getting robbed.

@arturo182 Still need to try that at some point. I usually drink my yerba mate in a more traditional manner

Decided to play with some new models for StableDiffusion generation, and figured what better way to test things a bit than to generate some cyberpunk themed tomboys for @kaia?

@bullmousse Don't know that it's isolated to tomboys, but I consider elfin features a bonus

It turns out there's floss with teflon of all things in it. I am unfortunately one of those people who used it for way longer than I'd like before learning this.https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/hsph-in-the-news/dental-floss-harmful-chemicals/

@kaia When it comes to the story writing, I'm more a fan of Terry Goodkind, though he got a lot of his philosophy from Rand. It's hard to not enjoy quotes like this one from Wizard's First Rule. (I hate posting images of text, but it's a way around the stupid 500 char limit)

@thor Yeah, being long-tail abnormal on sizing sucks. I've got a 38in inseam and a 36in waist, and most pants come in a 36in inseam at longest. On top of that, when tall and skinny it's difficult to find sizes long enough that aren't also parachutes. Not many manufacturers make something with the chest size of a typical US large with the length of a 2XL. If you like cargo pants in a BDU style, I know of a place that makes them custom for $48 a pair, but the shipping to Norway would likely suck.

@thor You'd probably be able to get away with just using their standard sizing chart to get them even cheaper than custom, but don't know offhand for sure.

@adam Listened to every show since I found NA back in 2014 or 2015. Went through a good chunk of the older episodes from before I found the show, too.

@thor We do use a multicharacter dollar symbol after the number, like 100USD. For a single symbol, I've seen it before the number in other currencies too, like the yen.

@eriner Protip: Don't photograph your keys, it's exceedingly easy to copy keys with some photo information. My EDC is effectively:- Keys- RFID blocking wallet- Phone- Kobalt folding box cutter- Folding knife (yes, I carry both)Not always daily (oft when carrying a pack):- iPod touch and wired earbuds- Indestructible Embassy pen from Countycomm- At least one ocarina- Glasses cleaner/cloth- 20+ft paracord with a loop tied at one end- Maybe eventually lockpicks/lock for practice

@mwklein @eriner I usually keep at least one fixed blade in the car along with a tomahawk. For carrying on your person, folding knives have a lot more leeway in CA for concealed carry than fixed blades (and counts as open carry when the pocket clip is visible. I can even legally carry my Cold Steel Espada XL (7.5" blade) most places because it folds.

Managed to catch a day of the LA Whip Convention this past weekend with a friend and had a lot of fun throwing leather. Took a workshop on whip tossing that I didn't initially plan to, and one on Australian whip cracking from Adam Winrich (holder of an insane number of world records). Still need to go through the DVDs Adam gave out. Other time up there that day was having fun working on technique and practicing.

@cake It's a ton of fun, both for throwing sonic booms as well as the fun things that are possible with target work, or flourishes for that matter.
