@thj neurotypical people often don't require too much stimulation. sitting down to watch football, reading the news or something similar seems to be enough in most cases.

@thj probably very productive, but not very advanced. look at ants for example. every ant has their job, and they do it efficiently and quickly, building gigantic structures and defending it. but they are ants so they aren't too advanced with what they build.

@thj everyone has their theory about "optimal" training, but the reality is that do whatever you feel you need. the numbers could just be something to give you a pointer about roughly how much to do. who knows.

@selea i feel you. and calling chatgpt an AI is degrading the term artificial intelligence. that thing is powerful, sure, but it's not intellingent. it's just a language model. same goes for the image generating junk too. oh, and the really nice ethical decisions from the companies behind them. just ripping off other people's work without consent and with basically no way of checking afterwards

@thj i've thought about this a lot, and i just can't find any reason to have this much money. if i became the CEO of a big company, sure, i'd live more luxuriously than what's necessary, but why have all that wealth? it's of no use to anybody. i would simply pay taxes and donate the, let's call it what it is, unnecessary money to people who can actually do something with it. like important research so the earth doesn't become uninhabitable that soon, or homeless people so they can afford housing and find a job, shit like that

@thj i can recommend the works of Andy Weir. Specifically, The Martian or Project Hail Mary. They're science fiction, but the author actually does the math and there are only a handful of fiction elements, and he builds on those with actual logic, math and reasoning.
