A question for MAPs that are attracted to a wider age range: are your feelings and your attraction different depending on the age of the minor?I saw two girls today that both blew me away in their own way. One was around 6 or 7, and seeing her felt like if beauty and grace were to personify as human, they would take her form. The other was around 3 or 4, and seeing her evoked feelings of wanting to protect and socialize with her. Maybe the kind of feeling parents might feel for their own child.In general, it seems that for me the attraction towards younger children / toddlers is much more emotional than physical, while the physical aspect becomes stronger the older they are.

@Katie @fedi_block_bot That's the problem with these blocklists. It takes just a few instances to denounce us as CSA(M) instances for more to follow along, trusting them because in their mind places that are welcoming to pedophiles will *of course* be distribution centres for illegal content (if they even bother to check at all). Until we finally end up on the unified blocklists, from which point on many instances will just automatically import those lists and block us without bothering to look who they are blocking, trusting instances who blocked us before, who in turn were trusting instances that are spreading lies and false accusations about us.

@comrade_lecter @Weyowi In Victorian times, art often used the motif of naked children (especially girls) as a symbol for innocence and purity. Early photography tried to emulate art and paintings. The nude pictures Carroll took only make up a tiny fraction of all the pictures he created, and he always made sure to involve the guardians and to seek their permission. He was also very open about it, so it was not like he took nude pictures of girls in secret for his own sexual pleasure – he considered them art he created in his free time.All in all, I think it's not fair to apply the standards of the 21st century digital age with regard to nude pictures of children to Carrolls times.

@comrade_lecter It's the same in MAP spaces as well. In my experience, Anti-Cs are generally pretty chill towards all kinds of orientations (unless they are the self-hating kind who project their self-hatred unto others, I guess). On the other hand, Pro-Cs often tend to be extremely mean and stigmatizing against sadists, nepiophiles or anyone with an attraction where it is especially obvious that no consent can be given.
