@mangeurdenuage @amoroso @cnes the cnes editor is on mastodon. Not on the fediverse. They read, and write, on the fediverse, from their mastodon instance.Svp arreter d'etre un pain in the ass and police the tone of people making the fediverse better. It's fucking annoying.

@mangeurdenuage I get it, notice how I used the word fediverse in my previous post where I was referring to the whole fediverse. But the cnes editor mentioned in the meme *is* on mastodon. There's literally nothing wrong in that post. Nobody called the fediverse mastodon. You'll agree that is OK to call mastodon mastodon, right? In general, you're right. It's unfair to conflate mastodon with the fediverse. But pointing it out when nobody made a mistake makes the fediverse unwelcoming. Stop.

@bash.tar files can be quite heavy. You can use the Feather tool to compress them and make them lighter which gives you the well known tar.feather files.

@foone i wonder if the AI-that-be considers that the canonical source because "come on, it's from the horse network. How more legit can it be?"

Muting the word "Musk" because y'all are obsessed. It pops up in replies about things completely unrelated. I get it, I'm worried too, but between that and AI I don't know what gets brought up out of context more. You're exhausting.

@foone it feels familiar... I wonder if there was a compiz plugin back in the day that did that.Or maybe it was tabs in, Firefox fading when abandoned...

@davd I tried some hosted (on scaleway) LLMs that I could theoretically host locally (if I had the hardware for it) and... Nope.Even llama 3.2 70b was giving weird answers and refusing to trigger services. But the best was deepseek. I said "hello" and it turned off all my livingroom lights.

@foone there are cheap bluetooth thermal label printers (phomemo is the brand I think) for which I didn't find an open-source driver.
