One of my goals for #2024 is to #declutter & #consolidate my tech and regain control over my own data - both physical as well as virtual.I don't have a clear idea of what all that might entail yet but here's a tentative list:1. Email - a good family plan that also offers catch-all email routing.2. Books - Preferably not Kindle but don't see any alternatives in India.3. Personal media - Google? Homelab? self-hosted VPS?4. Plex? Jellyfin?What else? Suggestions welcome! :)

@mikebenjaminto Wow, thanks so much for the detailed response!! 💯I have found a self-hostable proxy called erine.email for the catchall but I'm not sure if I'm savvy enough to install it on my droplet. Plus not sure I can spare time to deal with spam, DKIM, etc. and manage/maintain it. Would prefer managed email, if possible.Synology has multiple reccos in these comments! Might be one of the first ones I'll pull the trigger on.Remarkable does not ship to India yet. :(
