@eltheanine Looks like we're gonna be separated after all, me continuing playing on the EU server while you play on the Asia server.The reason is a phenomenon that I've experienced before on Asia, a real nerve-wrecking one for me......best described like this...Me: Ok, I traveled these 20 meters just now...Game: I want you to start from the beginning now, walk them again.Me: wth was that? @cy @eltheanine I looked hard...I guess I'm going to make a clip to demonstrate some harsh rubberbanding...Looked briefly on YouTube to find a good video but my rubberbanding seems to be much more awful than their "tiny rubberbanding"...and my ping's like 300 max while on EU it's like below 100...I don't think it's the ping, must be an overloaded Asia server.If it happens again...I'll make sure to capture a clip and post it here on Mastodon!#Rubberbanding #Mastodon

@eltheanine Perhaps ignore my previous message about me not going to play on the Albion Online Asia server anymore.After I did my hard search on YouTube and finding that the algorithm is "deeply flawed" cause there must be someone who have better demonstrated what bad rubberbanding looks like, I'm gonna stay on Asia until I capture a clip that demonstrates it well...perhaps even knocks me down by NPC mobs...so that it can be demonstrated how bad rubberbanding can be#RubberBanding

@DRS yeah and considering your instance(mstdn.jp) is pretty chill in regards to moderation(to my current experience) I'd say this is the right place.I got an alt on mstdn.jp and VPNs are allowed...I think it's Tor that is less welcome there but that's ok.Considering you joined 2019 I guess you also might have some experience, unless you registered, wrote a few posts, then left and later came back in 2025...#fediverse #MstdnJP
