Is anyone else having issues signing into the website for mstdn.social? @stux, is it not possible to be signed in on the app and also on the website? I’m getting the “invalid email or password” message on the website. Just wondering if anyone else is, and I still need to figure out direct messages here, too.

@stux Absolutely! And I just updated my password yesterday, through the “forgot my password” feature, to make sure it was recognizing my email. (I also keep that info in my offline password management app, so I double check always.)

@stux Correct credentials, had reset the password yesterday from the forgot password function (worked for logging back into the apps—I have Mastodon for iPhone and Tooot), but get that error message on both the Vivaldi and Firefox browsers if I try to log into the instance’s website/webpage. Just so you know I wasn’t using Safari or Tor. Not critical to login there; I’m 99% app user for the FediVerse.

@lore This speaks to me after a week of dealing with stupid people. I’m not being rude; what adjuster doesn’t know what a zero deductible is? The one with the auto glass company that my insurance uses, that’s who. That was Monday & it just kept coming for 5 straight days. I spent today hiding in my room. Blessed healing. (How the heck to these people get & keep jobs?)

@itnewsbot I sympathize. We use it at work, and it frequently detects my students’ emails as a threat and doesn’t even load them in my spam box. Even with the same .edu extension. I just give them my cell and tell them to message me through the Canvas inbox. Microsoft fixes nothing until they think they’re going to end up with fines. I actually beta tested Vista as my internship for tech support; we told them what was wrong but they waited and did Windows 7. Had a Mac ever since.
