@foone It has to be Jump Sacred, after all that's why x86 was chosen for TempleOS.

@foone https://github.com/philhassey/tinypy mentions 64k, but that seems to be target size for the binary, not the total memory needed to get it functional.

@finlaydag33k @selea At least the big vendors are closer to 5-7 years of security updates now. Still not great (and still getting all the other undesired updates at the same time), but better than having to trash a perfectly working phone after 2 years.

@foone Now I'm trying to remember what it was called before that. Was it Firebird/Phoenix or was that yet another Mozilla product ... darn ... I can't resist the urge to do a web search. Ok, turns out both were right.

@foone Very carefully organized palette where every color (that can have a dialog painted over it) has the "same, but darker" version exactly 10 slots later?

@foone My DOS days and my programming days are far enough apart, that I don't know anything for sure, but did they perhaps use it to build a simple API that their various loadable modules use to provide shared functionality? I.e. their SSW.EXE is just ld.so?

@foone ist this related to software in the disk drive era? Because then I could theoretically imagine undetected disk read errors accumulating and writing a fresh copy fixing it (but then the zip file would eventually degrade in the same way).

@foone I feel like the right Shift key should be labelled "Shiiiiiiiiiiiiift" ... for no particularly good reason.
