@jessecoynelson I am fairly optimistic. So far in NL the lame stream state media has not jumped on the fear bandwagon at all, which is surprising. They would be the first to start doing it, especially since we too have an election soon. Have not seen a face diaper in months. I increasingly hear people (normies) regretting taking the vax and linking the increase in sick people to said vax. I feel the EU has chosen climate change as a narrative for increased control. But, they chose... poorly.

@MountainJay maybe the GAPS method (https://gaps.me) can help you out. It's a broad method you can tailor to your own situation and has been successful with all sorts of chronic problems, like food allergies. You go back to the bare essentials to heal your gut lining, then introduce more and more food (fermented foods are an important part of it). Can you still eat fish, chicken and eggs? And were you able to eat red meat before?

@MountainJay sounds like you're on the right path already! Mast cell activation syndrome is specifically mentioned in my GAPS book as well. The reasoning is that the gut lining is damaged and lets in too many undigested particles into the blood stream, causing allergies and other problems like MCAS. I'm doing the GAPS introduction diet soon, which is specifically to heal the gut lining. That diet consists out of mostly meat broths to start with. I wish I had my own chickens too!

@Koppa I like Podverse. You can create an account and get a premium version of it, but I never have myself. The free version is pretty much complete. Love the auto queue feature of selected podcasts, it gives a nice chronological playlist of podcast episodes as they come out.

@Koppa Jerm Warfare. South African bloke, listens to pretty much anyone and everything whom he finds interesting. Often very interesting topics. Lots about health, history and geopolitics. Has gotten involved with Thierry/FVD recently too. Podcasts about ancient stuff: Grimerica, Brothers of the Serpent, Kosmographia.Grimerica has recently launched an audiobook podcast: adultbrain.ca. They read obscure and ancient books. Monthly free ones. The Corbett Report for general newsy topics.

@thisisthebreath recently, from many different sources, I've been made aware that high quality fat is the best food and therapeutic for the brain. Animal fats, fatty meat, fish, ghee, fermented high fat dairy, egg yolks (raw or runny), extra virgin coconut oil, and lots of it. No processed fats like seed oils. All sourced from clean, organic sources, as much as possible. The brain is mostly made out of fat and needs fat to rebuild and maintain it.

@thisisthebreath @Mummabear well done him! Sounds like he's going to be open to suggestions. I've been telling many people that diet can heal or reduce most health problems - not many want to listen though. It is slightly different for everyone though, which makes it hard. Everybody needs to go through some trial and error.

@Mummabear @thisisthebreath Keto, GAPS and/or ol' fashioned fasting (done properly) is what I'd try if I were seriously ill.

@Mummabear @thisisthebreath not hours, days. As many as one can handle, but at least a few. Recurring sessions if severe. Just water, but some prefer it with some lemon or celtic salt. It's not one size fits all. It takes time to find the right approach. It depends on ones stamina, health and severity of the illness. Some fasts allow meat stock, juices or weak soups. The sicker one is, the more days of fasting will be needed. But if one's very weak I'd go with Keto and GAPS first.

@PNS @eriner especially when fermented, like sauerkraut. A rich source of natural vitamin C which the body can use more easily than supplements.

@Mummabear @MrDaniel .. I was just about to post something similar, you beat me to it.Grimerica's AdultBrain audiobook feed's like that, when you subscribe. It's just an RSS feed requiring an username and password. Podverse (and I'm sure other apps) can handle it fine, too.

@Sophistifunk you know, I thought of Pantera and some Motörhead right away, but it's not really wat you're after I guess. Personally I've been looking for a (distorted) banjo heavy blue grass metal crossover genre, but I have yet to find it. I'm sure it could be awesome.
