Anyways as generic as it is, 'be the change you want to be in the world'. World is full of mean, spiteful, unappreciative people? Be kind and virtuous, no matter how much life tempts you and ridicules you for doing so. Hate how society encourages one to be materialistic and selfish? Take time out of your day to personally help someone, and do not be led astray by consummeristic gains that you are pressured into by those around you. When you stay firm to your principles, you begin to love yourself more and by doing that you care for yourself more. Do what you think is right, what you know is right.

@animeirl @gem Good question. I can't say since I have no idea where you are from nor what you are doing. However, what I can tell you is that you can find it by chance when you are fed up with life. The hard part is that afterwards it's difficult to keep on looking for it so you have to be motivated. The challenge is the really fun thing about it.

I'm starting to be better at not procrastinating. I've practically removed all distractions spare for two, the biggest of which is YouTube. I don't mind it for certain technical videos and the like, but the algorithm is made for your feed to be filled with rage-bait, click-bait topics, and encourages you into going into the argument prone comment section hoping to find some useful information, but instead finding users fishing for upboats like this is reddit, and everyone's hot takes. I'm thinking of just mostly banning it all together. It's one of the only obstacles I have left in my way.

If you don't like certain content in a game, you have two options. Either ignore/skip over it, or just don't play the game. Very simple. That's the mature thing to do. If you are so morally opposed to something don't support it. No need to change it to fit your moral views.

The trend of the Japanese including ero-content within their PC games as some sort of trope is very peculiar, I wonder where it originated from? I was speaking to someone before about how I found it strange how visual novel companies tend to put H into their works, even if it doesn't fit in with the plot at all, (certain visual novels make the transition very jarring, humorously so) and he told me that the trend is so common, that the Japanese generally won't even bother playing a visual novel game without any h content, even if it doesn't tie in, because it goes against tradition. Don't know if this is true or not, but I found it pretty funny.

@sharutiaburaddofouren You know, inspiration is normal, but game companies shouldn't hype their games up as being like another popular game series. Have faith in pumping out your own original creation without having to ride the backs of others.
