@j4yc33 now is a fascinating time to read up on the Bronze Age Collapse.My favourite part is how, rising after the fall, broken societies without tools or understanding tried crudely to replicate the works of the world they inherited.There are going to be some clay replicas of phones and tablets in the future archaeological record.

How is it that I'm the most serious guy in most situations? I'm literally a clown!In the last job where I was a travelling jester, I was more concerned than the founder CEO that no one knew where or how the codebase was stored.Today as a barista I was more concerned than the owners that the cafe be open on time, and have a consistent schedule. I'm more serious about my relationships, about my social groups, about my computing environment, about the future of my nation... I don't get it.
