       @RickiTarr Ezra Klein had a good piece recently. Summed up: "I would be more worried if they were doing things slowly, carefully, and strategically." Doing things quickly, scatter shot, and with maximum noise is a sign of weakness.I think he has a point. Makes me feel better. And, you know they are going to have a massive face-plant soon.

       @davidrevoy How about sending the characters to a conversion camp where they get tortured until they renounce their true feelings and spend the rest of their life in psychological agony caused by denying their true feelings? Would you be willing to do that to satisfy this concerned parent? It would serve as a warning to their children as to what parents like this are willing to do to them.
