@ninapaley Get enough lesbophobia into a movement and watch lesbians leave. Seen it happen on Tumblr a lot, not blaming the lesbians. Seen it happen here, too. I don't use the label for myself because I'm not an activist and don't think I know enough theory to claim the label, anyway.

@beep Same in some parts of Europe. Sometimes people build houses big enough for two or three "nuclear" families so you have two or three generations living together. Especially common in villages.

@beep Yeah, personally I moved out for work and because my parents' place is too small for any sort of privacy (I'm also gay and closeted). I'm much happier since so I understand the US Americans. Living alone is the best arrangement I've ever had. Wouldn't make fun of anyone over living with family, though, especially if they're supporting elderly parents or being assisted with by them with childcare. It's just so practical.

I had internet problems. Apparently caused by three empty energy drink cans in front of the router. Haven't lost connection since moving them. I work with computers. š¤Ŗ

I just saw the phrasing āviciously misgender.ā Viciously. I mean I have to laugh, it must be nice for certain radfems to be able to forget what happens when you give those cultists even an inch to spare their fragile feelings. The men in my private life - literally just dad and sisterās boyfriend - were actually arguing about whoās male cat is bigger. For context, I recently got a 6-ish month old tomcat, heās already pretty big for his age and might keep growing, and the boyfriendās mom has a big tomcat thatās pretty long and lanky. Both cats are castrated. So the men were arguing about whether my tomcat will outgrow the other one, and my dad had to praise his own tomcat, who is fierce for his size (and has significant.. girth š ). WHY.
