For those history buffs... Today I just published some of my original papers on responsibility-driven design, object-oriented frameworks, oo research, handling exceptions in Use Cases, and color Smalltalk.See: https://wirfs-brock.com/rebecca/papers/(scroll down towards the bottom)...This article in the Oct 1991 edition of American Programmer was scanned in (as there was no online version I could find).... on how to create oo frameworks: https://wirfs-brock.com/rebecca/papers/object-oriented-frameworks/Not sure it can be found anywhere else on the internet. And then there's a classic paper written for the 2002 forUse Conference Organized by Larry Constantine and Lucy Lockwood: What it Takes to Really Handle Exceptional Conditions:https://wirfs-brock.com/rebecca/papers/object-oriented-frameworks/This was an expanded version of what would eventually become a chapter in my design book.

@ricci If you haven't already listened to these, consider The Dawn of Everything: A New History of Humanity by David Graeber and David Wengrow Or Ed Yong's An Immense Word: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden World Around Us

@ricci It is rather long, so I think listening to it in bite sized chunks might be worthwhile.

Jane Goodall has died. She was an inspiration and a role model for many of us interested in science, research and investigation of our world. https://wapo.st/3WmnTUU
