       @stux It's extortion. Vance is extorting performance from the EU in favor of a person who may be under investigation in the US for violating FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) by acting on behalf of Russia.This extortion may be a continuation of that same agent's work on behalf of Russia.Unfortunately, until we know for certain the GOP has/hasn't won the House, we can't be certain Congress can stop Vance's extortion.

       @Nonilex Meta breached all four points benchmarking Fair Use:- they used it for commercial, not nonprofit purposes;- they used others composed words for the purposes of composing words through AI;- they used entire works and not excerpts under 300 words in length;- they damaged the value of the works from which they poached because Meta's AI can now create substantively competitive works, or if hacked, others can do so using Meta's AI.This needs a fine north of $5B to hurt Meta.
