Got double vaxxed today (I'm over 50) COVID and flu. I was only expecting the flu but I was asked if I was a carer or front line worker. I told them I am an unpaid carer for both my parents and I was told I was entitled to the COVID Vax also. So just a heads up to anyone in similar situation. This was NHS Scotland , so your milage may vary in other parts of the UK. #getvaxxed

@lowqualityfacts Thus the confusion over which came first - the chicken or the egg.

@RickiTarr @RolloTreadway Ironic since there was a long gap between the 1st movie and the then two sequels were made back to back.

@lowqualityfacts This occurs because humans and mice share 78.27% of their respective DNA.

@glc This is one of the most important Z80 speccy routines to add to your library. I found it in a magazine in late 80's and recovered it a few years ago from a +D disk. If you have a screen address in HL and you want to go to the next pixel address below it no matter where you are on the screen this will do it for you.I don't know how it works but it does. But it is so useful for drawing graphics to the screen.

@StillIRise1963 One of the strangest things is when you hear a company that disappeared in your own country many years is still in business elsewhere. In the UK Safeway and Woolworths were massive household names for many decades but ceased to exist here many years ago. Safeway still operate in the USA and Woolworths in Australia.

@futurebird Its a variation of the emperor's new clothes. We all must be solemn and respectful to the funny clothes wearers rather than expressing how ridiculous they look.

@sjmulder History shows that machines that have fixed specification get noticeable better software as their commercial lives go on as programmers get to grips with the hardware and squeeze every last bit of performance out of them. The games at the beginning of the original Playstations life vs. games a few years into its life is a good example. Plus all the home micros from the 80/90's were getting much superior software by the end of their commercial lives.

@devlin Noice. One of my favourite wheezes for the hell of it (and curiosity) was to copy a speccy cassette game onto minidisc and then load the game from minidisc into the speccy. And it worked first time.#ZXSpectrum

That time you spent $1Trillion on Tulips and put Tulips in all your products even though it didn't make any sense and people were becoming weary of products that had fully integrated Tulips, even when given away for free.Your massive warehouses where store all your Tulips were costing more in water and plant food to maintain than Tulips sales. So you borrow money using your Tulips as assets despite their finite life. Now customers don't want Tulips because THEY are ignorant fools.

@futurebird I like to rib a retro twitch streamer who will say "b dollar" instead of "b string" for b$. Like fellow retro heads he learned to program back in the day from written material. He never heard anyone else pronounce the dollar symbol as string so it's stuck with him for 40 years. I still find it amusing.
