@tiago I’m not missing your point. I’m not arguing that the poll was or was not democratic. I’m arguing that the practice of democracy is more than just counting the yeas and nays.All functional democracies/democratic institutions have safeguards against things that are a danger to the state/org aand/or to members of the community. (Furthermore, Twitter is neither a state nor a democratic institution.)If I punch you in the neck, we don’t need to vote whether I’m allowed back in the pub.
