       @leo I think Mastodon’s nature fixes some of the main issues with Twitter and in order to get out of Mastodon what we got out of Twitter we need high profile users. There are celebrities, leaders, scholars that offer a lot. They’ll only move enmasse when there’s enough of a general public here

       As a server engineer with ~20 years experience my guess is Twitter won’t suddenly crash. A service like it is built to run automated for some time. But performance will degrade until it eventually does go down. With even a handful of engineers that could be a while but still sad

       Chill, wonderful Valentines Day with wife today. Just went local: bookstore, ramen shop, bakery, nice long walk together, art gallery, & an episode of Andor before kiddo got home. And having oreo cheesecake with kiddo after dinner. Love my fam ❤️

       @futurebird Tower defense games work well (full disclosure I worked on a few of the Fieldrunners line) but I also enjoy Slay the Spire and digital board games too
