I have found breathing exercises to be most helpful when I notice my anxiety trying to keep me in a negative space without any real reason. Alongside morning and evening meditation to help with planning and focusing my thoughts; this has been a really helpful thing to notice, and I hope to try and habitualize this.

Seeing the term generative art become conflated more with garbage NFT stuff rather than livecoding or similar things fills me with a similar rage I assume cryptography people felt when "crypto" became cryptocurrency

@pee_zombie im not talking about global public opinion or whatever, it has become the dominant discussion point in online platforms or other places where someone interested in learning generative art would be likely to look. It hurts people who want to be into a topic because they only see it reflected in the form of cynical autogenerated picrew cashgrab nonsense

The eternal conflict in my mind of "damn the web as a protocol has become so bloated that is has become essentially impossible for anyone to ensure that things are safe and ground up browser development can only be done by multimillion dollar companies" and "damn please stop forcing me to use your app I cannot trust that it will not track me or steal my data, also it's probably just a website in an app-shaped box"
