@textfiles a couple of years ago I helped a friend get his fathers paintings online while his father could still move a mouse. It was a saddening experience but also a joy since said father did most of the photos and uploads himself before he went.

@historyofpunkrock I grew up with tagging SNFU on Alberta UFA containers. Florescent orange. Discovered mosh pits and eyeglasses do not mix. Well, my eyeglasses mixed with the rest of the broken glass.

@tomjennings me want :-) I need to build my kaypro. I learned assembly on 8080 and 8080a in emulation on a vax mainframe so that era marked me. And c/pm was my os all through uni.

@ricci thank you for your measured additions to @timbray measured analyses. I tend to the very liberal end of permissiveness but also do counseling, on occasion. Hence, I tend to self-censor heavily simply because I'd prefer to draw ire for a good reason. But I have never felt it's imposed on me here on Mastodon. Civility seems more common here :-)
