@brandon I couldn't go for 3! Mine is just Debian + i3.I wish I could use Alpine or maybe Arch, I've tried to put some time on installation and it didn't go well. But the thing is I've been using Debian for a long while and i3 for around one year. It's neat and I can do my work just fine with it.

Has anybody successfully setup splash screen like using plymouth on Debian 10 with i3? Or is it even possible?I don't want to see the error or startup log messages when the system boots.I've tried it but it didn't work when I put "quiet splash" on the grub config and triggering the grub build.

@Gina Me too have a project with RaspberryPi which was postponed and postponed.I'm trying to build a voice assistance using CMUSphinx. Recently finding some articles on how to train models using my recorded voice which seems to be quite interesting. So, I might try this soon.

@brandon I'm diagnosed as Bipolar Type 2 - some 8 years ago, I specifically have a social anxiety disorder. From my little experience, there is nothing that comes closer to being compassionate and show that love to your partner and let your partner know that you are there to help. It always makes them feel comfortable which is very important. The first step is to ease the pain that comes out of anxiety. A person could rely on medications, that might help for some amount. 1/2

@brandon Ultimately one who has this problem gotta realize and accept which is the hardest part. And for that, you would have to take that step I've mentioned in the 2nd para. Honestly it's not that easy, it will take time and I wish you the best that you both could figure out a way for this and find peace together.Much love!2/2

@brandon It's good that you are reaching out for help! And I can understand that medications doesn't necessarily need to be working for everyone as it does for me for the last 6 years. But take note: You might have to consult a professional therapist or a psychologist sometime, as you are mentioning your partner's anxiety is intense.Wish you the best!

Good news! But it's weird to see when there is tobacco and alcohol which are legal and get subsidies from the government, I just wanted to say as I'm growing older and getting to know these things, it's just totally depressing. One of the reasons, I don't read newspapers. And I can see, why some elderly people are talking negative things about what's happening in the world - whenever I talk to them.https://www.psymposia.com/magazine/william-leonard-pickard-lsd/

Got a 50GB internet pack yesterday. Has anyone here ever played Team Fortress 2? Is it any good? Planning to download on steam. I like shooting games. And I'm on Debian buster.

@tomosaigon Yes. And I agree that LSD isn't for everyone.I haven't tried LSD, so I cannot say for sure other than what I've read and heard from people who had experienced. Which is that it has significant potential to treat few mental disorders. So, the question would be - How can Governments get this in a potentially safe environment where they can take measures on treating those illnesses using psychedelic drugs? On the other hand, I've tried Cannabis multiple times 1/2

@tomosaigon I'm living in a country side in India and I always prefer this way because of the lively innocence from people here whom I could just have a casual conversation. We don't have any modern cafes here other than small Tea shops(Chai shop) where I could go have coffee, smoke a cigarette and chat with few people :)

@tomosaigon in my early 20s. That for sure is one hell of a thing where that CBD has potential to treat Seizures, Depression and Anxiety disorders etc,.With THC combined correctly, you can go into your own spiritual realm. 😂 It's legal at few places in India like Varanasi where some people like Aghori smoke to get into a transcendental state.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aghori2/2

Given that my first blog is a bit dark for few of my close friends, I'm thinking about what to write next.https://poet.dev/post/death-is-beautifulI haven't written ANY tech articles yet. Maybe I'll do that. But, whenever I wanted to write, my thought always goes to the good, bad and the ugly part of the Samsara(world).

@tomosaigon I would say even if you look at the history of western countries, there are shamans who does some rituals for healing purposes.Like in Mexico, Peru etc,. they do Ayahuasca ceremonies or rituals. It heals our soul they say. There are shamans who treats Schizophrenic patients in a different perspective. They say that they have the spirit of the other worlds and they can communicate with us for good.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curandero1/2

@sir LOL, me trying to make some bucks, I've been going with some creative names on Namecheap and trying to sell it. I sold couple domains successfully and I also sold rest of mine which is useless.Coming to the point, I found out that https://poet.dev is available. My mind just got boggled - it is such a good name and it suits me well. So, I kept it and dropped my previous username on many websites which is "mysticmode".So, some ad goes here, https://www.namecheap.com/domains/marketplace/listing/88035901/ is for sale! 😂

@sir I'm wondering, what's wrong with that.Besides, I think your ego is on fire and my words might not make any sense to you. There are many people in Mastodon instances who are below 20 years old and most people I think are following you.Have you ever thought about your words and yourself?
