My coworkers completely disregard the germ theory of medicine and claim that everyone who's been out sick of the last 2-3 weeks has been "exhausted" and "hit a wall"Like first of all, regular colds and exhaustion don't give you the same brain fog as covid does; it's very noticeably different, to a degree that's scary. Was just reminded of that time in college the art supply store where I worked selling art supplies was like "hey do you want some extra hours, we want you to paint the bathroom" and I was like "sure" and I did a pretty sloppy job and learned a lot since it was my first time and they were like "have you ever painted anything before" and I was like "I thought that was the idea was you didn't want to pay someone qualified"
