realizing that i need to read more for a while and reflect more before i really start writing this book. the world has changed so much since i started it 12 years ago. i still want to say some of the same things but the driving motivations have changed and there’s other things i want to talk about with it. also it’s definitely not queer enough.

so, i run selfcare.tech but rarely talk about why.it was on the tail of a med incident. a blood vessel burst in my retina & i had a blind spot in one eye that took over a month of recovery (after a panicked trip to the ER).it burst because of the *stress* i was under, partly from some life stuff, but mostly because of my work situation.after that, i started gathering resources & sharing them with others. eventually, i made the website so i could share easily & it went from there. #selfcare

Next week I'm writing 1000 words a day. Haven't done that in ages and I'm scared/excited.I've got a plan for a project that will work well for this.I'm also sketching out a map and dice-based journaling game and prepping to do a run of drabble-focused zines.Gonna just ride this wave while I can and hope that it bolsters my urge to get some work out there.
