       @mjg59 the largest problem with SMS 2FA is that way too many services allow for password recovery over SMS once a phone number is configured. And that is worse than email

       @mjg59 on the Mac, the network changed thing happens whenever enterprise WPA is reauthenticating in the background. Maybe same under Linux?

       @ncommander accessing the FaceID settings requires re-typing the passcode. Did the attacker see the neighbor unlock their phone with the passcode? How else would they have managed to access the FaceID settings? Some new workaround to bypass that password prompt? This is slightly concerning

       @foone IIRC, putty still supports ZMODEM. If the target server has rz installed, run that and putty will prevent a file closer dialogI wish command line ssh client had that too
