@kennethb *claps* what a fantastic critique, completely devoid of any connection to reality. Best yet starting with an ad-hominem, what a brilliant debating strategy.Blair... Yes, Iraq, Afghanistan and PFI schemes sucking public finances straight into the private sector. No investment in housing creating the shit-show under 40s find themselves in.

@RichardJMurphy in principle yes, but the left always run into the same issue of disunity and falling into a myriad of different parties, none of which are really successful.Probably something like a new Socialist Alliance may be more effective in terms of placing pressure on marginal Labour seats.

If the bourgeoisie prevent us from winning socialism democratically, by taking over all mainstream political parties, expelling socialists from socialist parties and gerrymandering elections - then the only choice we have is the overthrow of the entire capitalist system and revolution.

Happy #SocialistSunday everyone. What a complete mess this week has been, the #Lineker story takes over everything, the BBC, #Tories and the press should be dying from hypocrisy-overdose and the important stories are left out of the news agenda - so maybe the Lineker story serves the bourgeoisie nicely after all.And of course we see the #LabourParty front bench flip-flopping all week following whichever way they think the wind is blowing.#socialists #socialism #socialist #ukpolitics #uk

Really? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-64914542"Twenty years after the invasion of Iraq, controversy still rages over the existence of the "weapons of mass destruction" (WMDs) which provided the UK's justification for taking part. New details about the search for WMDs have emerged as part of a BBC series, Shock and War: Iraq 20 years on, based on conversations with dozens of people directly involved."What controversy? There were no WMD. Therefore the main justification for war was a lie.

Expecting to have to switch to Debian soon! πŸ˜‚

Mastodon dot social is too big, should not be pushed via the mobile application and probably needs to be shut down.Discuss.#mastodon #fediverse #mastoadmin

@clemenceau @jay Hi both...I think we all agree its too big? The point of the Fediverse is de-centralisation, that doesn't work if 1/7 accounts (across all applications, not just Mastodon) are on a single server. Ouch.Should the official mobile app be pushing it? Definitely not.Shut down, well that's extreme, but it spreads the accounts out. There's also issues with moderation over there being heavily politically biased towards the bourgeois-liberal centre. But that's going off-topic!
