       @nuron Ohne Spezialist für Kirchenhistorie bzw. Kritischer Analyse dessen zu sein, gehe ich davon aus, dass die Strukturierung des Jahres unter den Gebenheiten der damaligen Bevölkerung gut passte oder an andere Bräuche anlehnt.z.B. Ostern fällt parallel zum Passahfest des Judentums. Der Ursprung von Religionen selbst ist noch etwas komplexer. Im Grunde ging es wohl eher um Macht, Unterdrückung, Hoffnung und Lebensstile als um Feiertage, wenn man bedenkt, wann Religionen gegründet wurden.

       @nuron Im Grunde können sich Atheisten oder Agnostiker über freie Tage freuen. Es sei denn sie Arbeiten im Gesundheits- oder ÖPNV-Wesen.Ob eine Lösung sein könnte, dass alle gesetzlichen Feiertage in gesetzliche Urlaubstage überführt werden, wage ich zu bezweifeln.Aus einer forschenden Perspektive ist es schon interessant, woher eigentlich die Bräuche kommen oder herauszufinden, wo so mancher Stuss, der heute noch selbst in aufgeklärteren religiösen Gruppen vertreten wird, herrührt.

       @hoergen Edelstahl und gut. In der Herstellung Energie und Rohstoff intensiv - aber fast unkaputtbar. Ich müsste nochmal recherchieren, aber so ein Edelstahl Becher für To Go rechnet sich mach > 3 Monaten bei täglichem Gebrauch

       Another firmware update smoothly done with #coreboot and #tianocore on my ThinkPad X220. I am not sure if that's a good thing. There was always a nice touch to it whether it will work or screw up the machine. Now the thrill is gone. It just works fine. Long live open source #firmware! The only thing missing is proper integration into the software updaters of $Distribution. We'll get to that stage, won't we,@CyReVolt ?

       @angristan OnePlus lost me after deciding, that their capable phones e.g. 3/3T won't get new Android Versions and Oreo was only rolled out due to community complaints. My phone would run Android 20 just fine spec wise and it still works, but I have to hope for security patches from now on. They lost their connection to tech enthusiasts which helped them grow in the first place.

       @TheFuzzStone For me it's not clear, what actual problem you have right now, that you want to solve.For slow boot times I think one could blame GRUB2 if Manjaro's full disk encryption is using it with LUKS. But I have to check whether Manjaro acutually does GRUB2 in early boot mode to use it with LUKS boot encryption. If it is the way I assume, then I was told that there is a patch in the wild to fix GRUB2 slow decryption speeds due to not using hardware acceleration.

       @wolf480pl Actually I don't have a clue how the internals work. Quite embarrassing indeed.I would've thought that the compositor knows from which window a spawn of a new process comes and therefore could allocate it to the same workspace/window.
