@lanodan Yes, and that's bother me. We have like 5-6 UI with so many different feature sets that we really should merge them here and there. I don't mind minimalist stuff (brutaldon, pinafore), but some of the bigger ones need to merge or come closer in features, imo.

@hcs Not really about 'real life' (as not a documentary), but they shot there, and the story plays there.Flashpoint - special police force, who solves problems with talking and not shooting. Plays in Toronto, plus it has Enrico Colantoni.Being Erica - dramedy about a young woman, Erica who one day has an accident and meets a man who helps him in his life. Mystery series, 4 season complete. I don't remember which city. Highly recommended if you are into some mystery, but still real life problems.Continuum - time-travelling sci-fi with Rachel Nichols. Coming back from 2077 Vancouver, to present day Vancouver. Some really great stuff story and character-wise. I really need to re-watch this soon.Look for trailers, or watch some episodes, they are all worth watching for different reasons. As I was never in Canada, I don't know how much they show about the city.

Recently I am doing an MCU rewatch and it is so dissappointing how bad the first Avengers movie is with each rewatch.Years later I think Joss Whedon's humor isn't working for me anymore. And also he is a sexist pig (apology to real pigs all around the world). Shots of Pepper in a really short shorts, zipped down Black Widow top (5 cm more and...also absolutely inappropriate), and also BW buttshot when she speaks to Loki, etc.That Whedon guy is pretty sexist. He thought we didn't notice, but we did. Even if if is years later.The humor is very stupid, braking up scenes in the wrong way, and most of the time is just not funny at all.The worst thing is, I used to like the guy. I watched Buffy and Angel many times. If Linux gamers think that Steam is the best storefront for games, they really really really have a very very very low standard.Steam has a lot of really bad quality games.And another case is Battle for Wesnoth. A completely FLOSS (free/libre and open source) game, that's existed for a long long time. I think last year they applied for Steam (the game is free on Steam too, btw)Do you know why? Because if you are not on Steam, you are not visible, you do not exist at all.It's a sad state of PC gaming, that one store can rule them all, yet many people haven't realized this. (until of course are the big guys like EA, Ubi, etc.)It's a DRMgate. Steam itself is DRM, but few people has problem with it, since it is so convenient to use.Epic stole information from Steam? What's new really? The only way your data on your computer is safe, if it is off of any network! When will people realize that?On the other hand we still have GOG, and hey look they have spring sale!https://www.gog.com/It's a #DRMfree store for games of old and new. There are many Linux games and Windows games, that are playable with Wine. It's pretty great download, install and play. @kaniini No. Although I don't think that somebody if they are 16, 18 or 21, or 24 can make a person more responsible with the liquid they can't control.As most things in the world, education is key.

I am coming out from the lurking-mode of the past few days.I had an emotional rollercoaster this week: visiting my mom's and grandmother's grave alone after a couple of years, and watching Avengers: Endgame the day before, plus my brother couldn't come home (from abroad) - we would went to an modelling exhibition together.Don't worry I won't spoil the movie. Maybe joking about it a little, but I am not a jackass like in Twitch chat. Fuck that guy (or girl - I am for equality).

@MMWW This happens when you partner with proprietary software junk and service, like Steam. xDAs long as GOG people support Linux (no, I don't care about client, I am not a child, I can perfectly able to follow next-next-finish), I don't really panic about my gaming needs.
