It is interesting to visualize the audible and inaudible range of @fesix CNC milling machine and pick out the individual components such as stepper motors, spindle or the frequency inverter. 192kHz sampling rate, multiple microphones and 32 bit float gives u a lot of insights.

@joe @fesix I am not sure what exactly you mean but in this picture you can see two different stepper motors going two different directions (those crossed lines). The other straight line is the spindle motor (that remains straight because it runs with constant rpm)

After using my aluminium backplate for quite a while, I was curious whether copper would lower the temps of my MNT Pocket Reform further (It does by ~ 3°C). @fesix and I also etched the artwork I used on the other plate into it again. That was quite a bit of work since the photoresist was not good.
