@realcaseyrollins @internetarchive i mean that checkmark is worthless nowadays as it doesnt even do its purpose anymore. Anyone can buy the checkmark and claim to be whoever. Personally i'm good that i dont have an account there anymore, interactions on that platform were basically non-existent with very few exceptions.

@realcaseyrollins @internetarchive just that Twitter is a platform where you're basically not seen if you don't have any big followings. I never had any worthwhile discussions on Twitter, no one interacted with me except some rare times. No one replies back. In years of Twitter i just basically talked into thin air probably cause of the algorithm. So why would i waste money on that? Here on the Fediverse interactions where immensely more happening. Within the few months I'm here i had more interactions and discussions with people than in all of the years on Twitter.

@amberage dont want to sound mean, but win7 was out of support for a long time already. Stuff stopping to eventually run on it is quite to expect. A switch to either Linux or newer windows would have been easier sooner rather than later. Now its very late and you got way more data to transfer over to linux like you plan.
