The AP News app has the eulogy articles about the Pope followed by a handful of articles about the Harris campaign from before the election. It seems like their algorithm dragged up stores from when they probably prewrote the eulogy.

@chartier I believe in two classes of Windows laptop. The $350 Acer which you can replace when you drop it and it snaps in half. And a Dell Latitude (now Dell Pro Plus) which is designed to survive a decade in the business world.Buy nothing in between.

@lightweight Wow, that's quite comprehensive. Here we do have to do emissions testing (which for most cars involves plugging into the diagnostics port, and nothing more), but certainly nothing that comprehensively checks that... the entire car is in good condition.

@ricci I think their initial goal is mostly "as close as possible to the original", but if they're successful hopefully they'll branch out. I've never owned one, by the time I had a smartwatch, Pebbles were those things that no longer exist people talk fondly about.

@lightweight I will say Groups.io is really good for not selfhosted mailing lists. It's the original creator of Yahoo! Groups doing it as a separate standalone company. No wild and exciting growth mandate, and a generous free tier.
