@stux The republican party has become the party of frivolous lawsuits.Endless threats to sue and endless frivilous filings. The US needs to strengthen their anti-SLAPP laws and the bar (or governing authorities) need to start making penalties for lawyers knowingly filing meritless lawsuits have a little more "bite" to them.

@lowqualityfacts Hey @lowqualityfacts I get it you have a patreon you want to promote to your followers- so you want to make your account look good with lots of followers and few people you follow. But stop already with the scummy Twitter behavior of following people just to get them to follow you to up your follower count and then unfollowing them. @stux Currently I have you set up on annual Patreon and then just donate a coffe or two as needed. Been wanting to change this to a monthly donation. Is this the best method? I’d prefer a platform where you receive most of the money without high fees taken out but is safe to use. What works best for you (I’m in the US if that matters)?

@stux @protonprivacy @jonah This is so disappointing. I just switched to several of their products last year- and the idea of moving all of that again is daunting, but this really gives me pause. I hope they will address this. An online privacy based company supporting a man that is the embodiment of censorship and is pro surveillance capitalism and government surveillance in general- I may need to rethink this. And thinking that Trump stands up for the little guys- that's just hysterical.

@Nonilex A common nickname for Trump in China roughly translates to "nation builder"- because many of Trumps "America First" policies are serving to Make China Great Again and give China more worldwide influence. I fear while many in the US see the impending ST recession his policies will bring- they aren't factoring in the looming LT effects of Trump's isolationist idiocracy when his policies leave us bereft of allies and trade partners as trust in and influence of the US dwindle to nothing.
