What Linux distro should I use for a hosted server (DO or AWS?) to run services from (go binaries and software)?Never did this before but I suppose Ubuntu is popular? Maybe debian or NixOS? Want something that is easy to maintain.

@toon @neauoire One of the bigger issues I find is the misaligned incentives for most everything that is created.It's very hard to get people to donate if they don't want to. But internet content is assumed to be 'free'.But the incentives are misaligned in other ways too. Like having Twitter place the big blue button somewhere because it 'drives engagement' although most users don't use it (for a reason) so it wastes space.

I always wondered why do you need synths in first place. Can't all sound be synthesized with software and by pressing some buttons? Why do people buy synths?

@pee_zombie I never have the need to remotely connect to other machines. My computer is so optimized for me anyway, like ls (or exa) for me is `a`. cd is `a`. I barely ever use full commands.
