@Cosmic dont forget taxes and homeowners insurance. Otherwise a solid plan! That’s a bit more aggressive than what my wife and I are doing here. We’re 5 years into a 15yr mortgage that should be cleared in 4-5 years

@Cosmic these days there’s not a big benefit to 15 vs 30, but 5 yrs ago we could swing the 15yr payment and like the better amortization and essentially forced pay down

@Cosmic @eriner @DavidB my servicer makes that very easy online. You can select whether it is principal only or regular monthly payment. Mine has even automatically corrected it to principal only if it is less than the monthly payment if I forgot to switch it to principal only
