@sjors @stephanlivera The reason why we are here, is not because Twitter is the non-echo-chamber platform. Twitter is an echo-chamber of Wokeschaltung.

@Btcjerk @sjors @stephanlivera Correct. I made the word up in parallel to what the Nazis called "Gleichschaltung". Listen to this for an explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=7325&v=6GW-YMa68o4&feature=youtu.be

@nvk TIL not having COC explicitly stating we're sucking tranny cocks makes us alt-right.

@nvk Something tells me, this guy didn't hodl and is now a tiny bit bitter about what could have been.

@pete It's not about what Bitstamp thinks, it's about what some boomer bureaucrat in the Netherlands, who thinks Internet Explorer is "The Internet" and who types whole URLs into the Bing-search bar, thinks.

@nvk Maybe the friends we made along the way are the real whitepaper.

@pete I think that for an organization like a government apparatus, just brute-forcing the vaccine regiment is much cheaper than doing any form of analysis and differentiation. Like with the mask, it's a strategic lie to push the public into certain behavior.

@nvk @saifedean @pierre_rochard I happily eat the occasional 80% downturn in BTC just so I don't have to see a mass murderers face every time I buy something.

@stephanlivera The "it's not stable" meme is really only "but it's not money proper yet". Because no MoE is stable. Stable against what? The point of prices is to be in flux constantly. So stable means "1 unit = 1 unit". Everybody is free to do that in BTC right now.

@nvk Wouldn't that be equivalent to posting full collateral in BTC for cash. Buy the house. Take out loan against house. Pay 50% down on the BTC backed loan. Withdraw 50% of collateral, because now loan is smaller? But in one go.

@pete lol, idk. Could be banter, as in "when I have to solve problems for solutions to problems of my completely idiotic Rube-Goldberg machine, I channel the godmaster of useless, overcomplicated Rube-Goldberg-machines."

@nvk Not military, but I'm reading a lot on warfare. Afghanistan borders China. The probability of Taliban using those weapons to attack the US meaningfully, is low. They might to attack China, which then provokes the CCP into a similarly wasteful forever-war.

@nvk depends on the ad. If I know that it's not for me, I skip it regardless where it's placed. Examples are fiat-onramps that don't operate in my country. If it's by a company I might be interested in, I give it a chance. For example I personally don't use HWW's, but I'm always interested in new stuff I might recommend to friends and family.
