I think sublingual hrt is actually more ethical because it means people get a 5 minute break from my incessant yapping every 8 hours

but why should I use a resistor dac into an opamp and then impedance match that? why not just impedance match the dac itselfwhy why whhy

instead of designing circuit boards for a company so that I can buy food, I cut out the middle man and eat the boards directly. it's more efficient this way

@catilac I also hate this ): I have had people attempt to do this with me a few times now and I have had to shut it down. it makes me very uncomfy.

I think it is time for me to buy a 3D printer. I haven't owned my own for about a year now (since I moved to NYC) but sharing one at a makerspace has its disadvantages. I am looking for recommendations.I'm looking to spend like $500-1000 USD for a 3D printer. Most critically, I want something that I generally don't have to tinker with too much. It's fun, but I have other priorities now.I'd also like some kind of multi-material, single-nozzle setup, like Bambu's AMS.Nice-to-haves (not required):- Enclosure (ideally including the filment spools)- More open is better, but not requiring the cloud is a bare minimumWould love some recommendations (: especially would love perspective about how they compare to Bambus (which, ethical concerns aside, anecdotally seem to be very reliable. I will not be getting one ofc but the reliability is very nice)

I have a few potential printers in mind but I don't want to bias anyone so I'm intentionally not saying what they are yet

@spycrab oh sorry I think I misinterpreted, is this a prusa recommendation? I was looking at them briefly but they're expensive

ahhhh why is kicad 10 so buggyI heard rumours that they're vibecoding now but is it true? I keep crashing, usually when running the DRC. Most recently it decided to "recover" my project by just filling it up with a bunch of garbage files that I had to deleteI'm legitimately considering going back to kicad 9 at this point
