#Android users who have a phone that has some form of #desktop mode. Do you think it is ready to be used as a general purpose #computer ? I often see videos of the newer phones playing #emulators . And I wonder why people are not talking about it more. I am on iOS and would love to just have a phone that I connect to a monitor and keyboard that can run full MacOS. I know this isn't likely to happen, but I am curious about doing this with an Android.

@stux @justafrog @yasufadhili I thought about this before and it needs to be larger. An Apple Store employee would earn significantly more than an h&m employee.The board could just not pay the ceo more to keep wages down, but then that money just stays in the corporate account to be spent by the corporation.Companies need to be heavily taxed on big profits and wealth needs to be shared.

@thunderbird @killyourfm I’m in disbelief. This is truly insane. Microsoft keeps walking away from the direction I want them to go. I just need two apps to release on Linux and I’m all set. I’m migrating one workflow, but my main app is not on Linux yet.

I've been wavering on choosing a cloud provider to sync my data with. I really was hoping to use #ProtonDrive, but I really need a #Linux client. I was using #Google dive, but I really do not like how their system works.So, I am going to go with #Dropbox I am not particularly excited to use them, but just yesterday, my wife needed an ID which she did not have. If my data was in the #cloud, I could have just shown it on the phone.@protonmail

@stfn I actually appreciate it being clearly marked. If it is a content creator that I like, I’m happy to give back in the smallest way possible. When it’s not marked as an affiliate link though it kind of rubs me the wrong way.

@fosstastic I forget the guys name who lead it, but I did not like him at all. He had some problem with Calyx OS or its users, I am not really sure. I was in both the Graphene and Calyx Matrix instances and he went through the list of people in the Calyx instance that were also in the Graphene instances and then demanded that we leave the offical Calyx chat or be banned from Graphene.Total jerk move. Turned me off from Graphene entirely.

@futurebird @lnlyisol I searched for average cost of food per day in Tuscany and the top website result said it would cost about $20,000 per day. That site also had multiple listings with various different answers.

My wife and I decided to give up #Instagram reels and I gave up #Youtube shorts.It made a huge difference in our life after just one week. To start, we have both started doing all the activities that we have been wanting to do like reading, and other hobbies.But, most important, my wife's depression has not been a struggle for her this week.I have noticed a difference in her and she even says she feels lighter.So, if you are having trouble, just cut it out.#socialmedia #depression

@tyil these apps are designed to be addicting. I have pretty good self control, but my wife asked me to passcode restrict the apps on her phone. But the reason why is just addiction to them.
