@futurebird even if the videos were real, i will wager a large amount of money that they're crimes that have always been happening, it's just that there are SO MANY more cameras in the world, and old folks just hoover it up without even stopping to think one time about how their world has changed in a different way than they think

@futurebird I played it on PC for the first time in years a few months ago — it's so good! it still feels exactly the same but with all kinds of fun new stuff. impressive work by the team over there keeping it true to the original.

@stux I really do think that Zuck’s need for "masculinity" is less about women and more about the fact that the nerds won the culture war in so many ways but he still needs to pose as a jock so as to not get wedgied by the the incoming administration.Elmo on the other hand is failing hard at trying to prove his position as the alpha and omega of nerds.

@futurebird Didn't that neon tunnel in O’Hare originally have ambient Phillip Glass music playing in it? I think now it’s Gershwin, but it used to be abstract, tinkly, glass-like and very relaxing.
