@REX The 'outrage mob' is behavior unbecoming, though. Seriously, there's nothing I can do if the govt of Canada wants to put a gun to every little girl's head and make her scrub away a fat guy's pubes with maple syrup just because he says he's a little girl, too. It's sickening, I know, I get it, but when my whole timeline blows up with that kind of garbage, it's not like I can call the Queen and tell her to straighten up and fly right. I have no choice but to do an unfollow purge.

@REX @Angela It's tightening up over there, I think. I got a non-tweet in my timeline, just a 'friendly reminder' about the rules. Of course, I didn't break any rules, but I wonder if I got reported, and by who, else the message goes out to everyone.It was helpful, though. I noticed certain YT links weren't displaying properly, and that some may have been playing banner ads on the embeds. What if that becomes a way of setting people up? Link to a video, shows an offensive ad, and get banned.

@REX At first they are naive, but get a taste of the reactions, so they learn to fake it. They learn they can be manipulative for sympathy points. Alyssa Milano, for example, she's into the performance of it all, the role playing character of herself, and she's lost in it. They lose themselves in their artificial persona, setting up little 'triggers' for themselves, what set of words and images prompt them to react.. . .

@ThomasWic @AHendricks @hejoural I believe that the killers are idiots weaponized by methods of social engineering, like gathering every potential Lee Harvey Oswald into the same echo-chamber, pumping it full of suggestive messages about "optics" (or whatever conspiracy theories), and letting them think committing mass murder is somehow a good idea.As long as news media can profit from the shock-n-awe, the clock is ticking an invisible countdown to the next episode.
