@person Sick list \m/ Streets of Rage 2 is the first game I ever beat in one go, and still is one of my favorite belt scrollers to this day; Ninja Gaiden II is easily a top ten game for me; I don't even play first person shooters, but I did have fun playing DOOM and BLOOD back in the day.

@PixelDroid Hey, I keep getting the error 'Could not get account information.' whenever I try to log in to my pixelfed.social account, any idea how I can fix that? I can log in to the instance fine, but once I press 'Authorize' to give access to PixelDroid, I get this error.

@likho Nice. I can do relatively well against AI Robo-Ky, but Baiken is a pain to deal with—I've been wanting to study this match up for sometime.I've been playing the game intermittently for well over a year, but I haven't jumped into online lobbies yet. @antares Oh, nice. Which would you say has better combat, DMC4, or 5? I loved 4's combat mechanics, but it's a shame the campaign isn't as fun to play through. I find myself jumping in Bloody Palace whenever I boot it up.Interesting list you have there. I really do hope we get more FOSS games over time. Where do you stand on M.U.G.E.N, BTW?

@martijnbraam But I'm on Arch, I only have 49 explicitly installed packages, and +500 in total, so around x10 in dependencies. I think this is just software development in general now, not necessarily only web apps.

@person Wow. Another reason to be happy I don't play AAAs. It helps I don't find story-driven, or open-world, games fun at all, and I don't particularly enjoy shooters either. And I feel as if this is what the bulk of AAA games are.

@kev I wonder if there are people out there who use two phones; one 'tainted' with predatory apps, and one isn't. Separate phone numbers, separate emails… etc. I wonder how practical that can be.I never thought of it as a black/white issue though. If the larger percentage of the apps/services I use are in line with my views on privacy, I'm content. No one can do anything 100% their way because, the way life works, unless it's a science experiment, no one has that much control over anything.

They are cheaper than most, yes, but I just purchased a year at $24 from ICDSoft, so I suppose it depends on which provider you're comparing them withI've been busy trying to do more freelance webdev work, so I don't hang out here or play a lot nowadays, unfortunately.
