@neekz0r @mookie Thats an interesting project, i'd be interested to know how you get on with it, i've used Jenkins for the sole reson that its well supported, established, and i'll be using it to push docker images out at home as well. We use it at work, so one less thing to learn. I'd be interested in a "blech" opinion of Sandstorm once you get to grips with it as well, always looking for new things to bring into the pipeline.

is there anything of my data that's not been hacked, manipulated, sold, misused or misrepresent in the past 10 years?

@mishari there's a lot to like, I'll be the first to admit, with the 8gb ram and 64gb storage this isn't a low cost Chromebook, however I've been using a Flip for 3 years, so I'm used to the low/midrange devices too. I think Chrome OS 70 is a big leap for tablets and the inclusion of Cristiano (Linux layer) is a positive that's only going to get better. This Linux layer has helped with my daily work flow (VScode, git, etc) however I think it's nice just seeing ChromeOS develop well

An interesting read, the demo in the 60s that went on to define how we still use computers today.50 years ago, Douglas Engelbart's ‘Mother of All Demos’ changed personal technology foreverhttp://flip.it/rfOtiQ

@mishari 1988, computers in offices were not much more than "that box in the corner, finance uses" I had a zx spectrum 48k, and the local college had just started a "computer course". Having enrolled I learnt about COBOL, star networks, typing and some Pascal.. none of which I ever used IRL, however I was bitten by the bug. never looked back since....

@jplebreton I see where your going with this, commend it however you have extrapolated the cause from the root, given enough time even Mastodon will find itself heading down the same path as Facebook, Google or Twitter (never say never) I'm pretty sure the current extrapolated result of each of these was not the dream or the original elevator pitch. What would be far more adventurous to the industry would be how do you stop a Mastodon becoming a Twitter ?
