Now I am procrastinating, but this is worthy:I live in Iowa. For first time since 1972, there is no caucus.* Normally we start feeling caucus pressure jjuuust about now. In a year it'd be full-blown awful ugly theatrics. With fucking hay bales.No more! YAY! Thumb up.* Since 1972, I missed 1 caucus. Last four disastrous.Fucking train wreck. Iowa Dems are delusional. Changed my registration to Independent in 2016.

This may peeve people—but you don’t need an app to move to Mastodon from Twitter.Just….move. Close your T account, and leave. And start over. I loved being at T. I miss many of the accounts I followed, but I’m not there now. Didn’t scrape (or whatever it’s called). I started from zero.

@clive I gotta say that as an intellectual and psychological exercise, it was 100% worth it. Eg, QTs. I was a maniacal user over there. After 3 weeks here, I was, like, you know, I don’t want QT! Also, starting over forced me to think about why and how I use social media. I only used T (occasionally FB), and it was a mental jolt.
