@khleedril @cubeofcheese @frameworkcomputer Correct. Hibernate is far, far more appropriate for longer term periods.- Backpack, hibernate.- Lunch, suspend.- Done for the day and disconnected from power, wish to not lose your work, hibernate. - Done for the day and CONNECTED power, wish to not lose your work, suspend or hibernate.

(cont https://fosstodon.org/@matthartley/113298890378795321 )This is the part where I tell you there is a GTK interface. Ironing out the final bits now. Two separate applications, for sanity sake.

My goal for where I take Linux Support this year is best described as focusing on us being the best of the best. I will be rolling out some new additions and improvements to how we do things with Linux Support at Framework Computer.Deeper, more detailed docs and guides. Refining our already growing one of a kind scripts and tools, and of course, ramping up additional community distro support. In short, this little demonstration video best summarizes my mindset. https://youtu.be/DqRxGuBSvlU?feature=shared

Just a light little personal project. If you own a Framework Laptop 16 and wonder what the heck to do with those little LED modules, here's your sign. ;)https://github.com/ctsdownloads/led-battery-monitor/tree/main?tab=readme-ov-file#led-battery-monitor-with-spotify-compatibility

Linux desktop voice control has a gap. Talon costs money. Other tools are X11-only or cloud-dependent.So I built EasySpeak.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl5m2Zo1oIEhttps://github.com/ctsdownloads/easyspeak/tree/dev?tab=readme-ov-file#easyspeak- Free and open source (GPL-3.0)- Fully local — no cloud, no accounts- Wayland-native- "Hey Jarvis, open downloads"Built for RSI, accessibility, or anyone who wants to talk to their computer.#Linux #OpenSource #Accessibility #VoiceControl #GNOME #Wayland #a11y
