@futurebird It wasn't good economic stimulous. It was one of the biggest financial fuckups ever. RIDICULOUS amounts of grift and overruns going into the pockets of rich people. AND by the time they finished it couldn't support the current numbers of cars.That being said, I'm surprised they're still talking about it to tourists because it's been done for so long now, and frankly the park it created doesn't actually impact most people's lives.

Went to check some info for a footnote. Learned that the reason there's no numbers _anywhere_ for what percentage of women have Klienfelter syndrome because the papers all ignore the fact that it can make people look outwardly female (boobs, & vagina). They just focus on the fact that everyone with #Klienfelter has 1 Y chromosome and 2 or more X chromosomes. #intersex

Despite literally writing about an #intersex condition the fucking researchers can't get their head around the fact that NONE of the people with #Kleinfelter are genetically "male" (they're not XY. They're XXY, XXXY, or even XXXXY), & the vast majority of them live their lives with NO awareness they have Klienfelter, even if they naturally look like girls.Why is it so hard for the highly educated people who actually know better? Note: XYY exists too. It's called Jacob's Syndrome.

Dear #3DPrinting people who are familiar with #CAD Upload your "stupid" models. There is nothing special about this "dumb" tray. It's just a five sided box with filleted edges, but it's been downloaded 79 times on Printables. Lots of folks have 3D printers but don't know how to model things in CAD. 79 folks either got something useful they didn't know how to make themselves, or had time saved by not having to model it themselves. Your "stupid" models are worth uploading.

Many of us use the “minimum font size" NOT zoom, because we need bigger text, not bigger images. I'm on the very low end of low vision needs, but my 20pt minimum font size breaks SO MANY web sites.This pic shows how big fonts are on my screen (thumb & ruler for context).#accessibility #webdesign

@aral @dzwiedziu I'm still with Kagi because short of building your own search engine and attempting to spider the world you have to use someone, and they're the least bad. Better than that, their product's values are aligned with the user. As for moral stuff, they seem to be trying to be neutral which, yes, is completely bullshit with regards to fascism, but it's better than everyone else who seems to be kissing fascism's ass.
