The #TheresLife code hosting service will be taken down in a couple days. (code.theres.life)Few people besides the Heb12 Project used it, and Heb12 moved to code.heb12.com. Make sure you have everything saved on another service or your computer. (I recommend Codeberg.org when it comes to other services.) #TheresLife members. I have a question for you. Should we use a fork of Mastodon called Hometown? It has a few extra features. The author's argument is that ecological catastrophe and the energy crisis will lead to economic collapse.The idea is to prepare ourselves in ways that make sense rather than throw all our hope into the existing (worldly) economic system.These include educating ourselves in the environment around us. What can we grow? How can we survive without fully stocked grocery stores, or without them at all?This specific project (CollapseOS) is about making an operating system that *could* become useful long after collapse, when the computers we have now become inoperable.Focusing on hyperinflation is myopic. Who cares about it if industry and supply chains collapse in a couple decades anyway?
