I surface know that as I get older, more and more people in my rolodex will never answer a message again. But there is knowing it, and there is KNOWING it. I don't like knowing it, and I don't like knowing that as the years tick by, not only will then number increase, the rate will increase as well.

I've also started really noticing that all these contact-enabled social-enabled apps and sites don't have a good "this friend is dead, don't forget them, but don't try to contact them".

I wish there was an actual real deep liquid prediction market where I could bet against the people who are very sure of things they don't know. That one existing is deemed deeply illegal by all "right thinking" existing power structures everywhere is suspicious.
