Our ride leaders' group did a great test ride of the route for @KidicalMass next Saturday. A lot of the ride is super easy; there were really only two intersections where we'll need more leaders helping manage traffic. We did see someone in a big truck being a total jerk on the road; peeling out, running a red, and ... getting nowhere. Thanks to our ride leaders for keeping everyone safe from drivers like that. The real answer is more protected bike infrastructure!! #BikeTooter

Hell, you don't have to bike, or want to bike, or care about biking at all, and you might *still* want the government to bet way more money on a long-proven, incredibly cheap and cost-effective method to fight climate change (and make streets safer for everyone!), rather than not doing that. Why not!? Maybe it'll work! Let's give it a go and see. But, no. We are not even trying, even seeing the results other countries are getting today. And that is so incredibly stupid.

After three attempts, what I’ve learned about applying for government permits for group bike rides is that you should NEVER EVER EVER EVER do that. People told me! I wanted to do things the “right” way. I was wrong. They were right. If you have a plan or location that requires a permit, change plans. Learn from my mistakes! #BikeTooter

If riding an ebike is "cheating" compared to other exercise, why do my ebike rides have such a profound effect on my happiness and physical well-being? Why do I have measurably better health and get dramatically more minutes of activity compared to when I was riding a non-electric bike? Why can't I find a single downside to this form of exercise other than cost?If it walks like exercise and quacks like exercise, maybe just call it exercise and leave off the judgment.#BikeTooter #EBikes
